About the Role

The Alerts and Integrations team at ThousandEyes is one of the core platform teams building a scalable system to provide our customers with actionable insights and notifications when they need them the most. We work on challenging and fun problems that involve processing and analyzing huge volumes of data at scale while maintaining a tight and non negotiable SLA for our customers to act on potential problems. We also provide integrations of our data with 3rd party channels such as PagerDuty, Slack, and ServiceNow, so that the data from our platform can be seamlessly transferred into customized workflows utilized by our customers and partners. If you are passionate about leading a team that works on huge amounts of data and loves enabling them to build features that provide valuable insights to customers, this is the opportunity for you!

 

 Apply for this role if you:

  • Have led a team of 5-8 engineers, and have 4+ years of software engineering management experience
  • Can provide strong technical vision for your team and ensure consistent delivery on objectives
  • Have experience formulating a team's technical strategy and roadmap; you've collaborated and partnered effectively with several other teams to execute on shared goals
  • Have 5+ years hands on experience building enterprise software products, especially those that deal with high velocity data pipelines requiring stringent latency and uptime SLAs
  • Have experience building products, and have successfully taken significant enhancements and features from inception to production
  • Are a strong proponent of Agile software methodologies, such as Scrum, and engineering principles such as Test Driven Development
  • Understand how to balance tactical needs with strategic growth and quality-based initiatives that can span multiple quarters
