Regional Marketing Manager at Zuora

Zuora is looking for a well-rounded, autonomous hard worker who loves to build relationships and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. 

In this role, you will report to the EMEA Head of Marketing and work closely with the extended Marketing team as well as UK and Nordics Sales, Alliances and Customer Success teams to plan and execute a wide range of marketing programs and initiatives to ultimately generate and drive pipeline. You will also be closely aligned with the local sales leaders who are responsible for over 10 sales reps to drive pipeline and bookings for that region. 

Based in London, this position is perfect for the confident marketer who is looking to play a leading role in building the Zuora brand and driving pipeline within key accounts. You will work on a range of campaigns across our customer lifecycle to create and accelerate pipeline across all channels: account-based marketing, PR, inbound and outbound digital activities, demand generation, events, and content creation.

As a key member of the growing European Marketing Team, your responsibilities include:

  • Build a working partnership with the UK and Nordics sales teams to drive regional growth
  • Work within the Marketing teams to integrate regional programs into go-to-market campaigns
  • Execute programmes, from planning through to delivery, to achieve qualified engagement within our key accounts
  • Manage all program activities including strategy, budget, planning, execution, analysis, and optimisation

 Position Deliverables:

 30 days:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the organisation and how we work together
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Zuora business model, our customers and partner ecosystem
  • Master our core positioning and messaging
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing motions and resources available globally
  • Become fully versed in SFDC – reporting, campaigns and lead flow – to start understanding status of existing pipeline

 60 days:

  • Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
  • Start to run reports and use reports in SFDC
  • Start formulating your plan for 2020, in partnership with local sales leaders

90 days:

  • Start independently executing local programs, including delivering a couple of milestone projects
  • Have your next 3 months of plans locked and loaded
  • Establish your own ‘personal’ brand at Zuora

About You:

  • Native English speaker or full professional proficiency (Nordic languages a bonus)
  • Experienced in event management, from planning to execution
  • Demonstrated success in supporting the field (sales, CSM, business development) teams as well as partner ecosystem in a fast pace environment
  • Experience with programs directed at key enterprise accounts
  • Understands how to use email, website and social media in an overall demand creation approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with multiple teams and represent the company in a positive, professional manner
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills: lead cross-functional virtual teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI with third-party vendors and contractors
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and operational excellence
